Bill Philipovich was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1952. After studying art in Winnipeg he worked professionally as an illustrator, designer and art director for over thirty years. Bill also worked in Vancouver before settling in Toronto in 1986 where he lives near High Park with his wife Sally. He is a dedicated, full-time painter who enjoys the wide open spaces of abstraction.
